Loved this, all of it. I especially relate to having realized that forgiveness doesn't erase - it simply morphs into something else. Something useful, when we can gather the courage and tenderness to face the places where it hurts most. And if I may dare say, staying on that path ~ ~ ~ it can even become something beautiful.
It's Shelley Youngblut, from Wordfest in Calgary. We've never stopped thinking about you (and paying attention). I'd love to be able to chat about how we might be able to showcase you here in person. I'm at syoungblut@wordfest. com. With gratitude, Shelley
all three of them are beautiful -- and the one on forgiveness struck a chord. so many powerful images and understandings revealed in that one. thank you.
The things I appreciate most about you is that you live in the moments and you are yourself in those moments. To look at life as something to examine is not a bad thing, but to do so at the expense of being in life is not a good thing. And when you just show up and begin to be, it reminds me to do the same thing in all the days that remain in front of me, including today.
That last one 🔥forgiveness as weather is it!
That means a lot. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing these and always being open about your process and your thoughts. That second one definitely hit something inside of me. ❤️
I’m happy it resonated!

Cheers to Notes App poems! It’s my primary writing device as well. Loved reading these words of yours this morning.
Funny, my thoughts in process live in unaddressed email drafts.
Your words on forgiveness resonate. ❤️🩹
This forgiveness poem hits the complexity of how layered forgiveness truly is so beautifully. Thank you ✨
