God’s Timing is always Perfect. Just standing here alone in the bathroom thinking about my parents not being here anymore… LONELY times this holiday season.
Thank you for this! For someone whose family is non-existent and those who are not abusive, are enablers, bigots, and/or false allies. So I made the difficult choice not to be surrounded by people who only do harm or standby and doing nothing. It makes for a lonely season, but I spend my time with my pets and other folks pets and fill up on that unconditional love. Still, it would nice to have something similar to a McCormick holiday commercial, and maybe one day I will. Until then, it's comforting to know I'm not alone.
Thank you for this beautiful piece. Your words have helped me through many difficult times this year. You are a gift, Frederick, and I’m so grateful for you.

Right there with you... this time always reminds me of my parents' absence. Sending love and comfort.
Beautiful. Thanks, Mr. Joseph, for reminding us of all those who are lonely today.
I really appreciate this line:
"But the body is still a choir,
even when it hums alone."
Thank you for this gift

Thank you for this perfectly timed poem.
“… the body is still a choir …”
You always lift me up!
Thank you, sir.
Happy Christmas!
Thank you for your presence ♥️🙏🏼
I feel the weight you carry,
how it lingers like a half-forgotten song,
how it weaves itself into moments of joy
just to remind you what’s missing.
This year, let the stillness cradle you
like a warm ember in the chill of December.
You’ve walked through countless storms;
this one will bow to your strength too.
This is beautiful and so needed. Thank you!
I needed this one. Thank you.
Thank you Fred. This says so much.
Thank you...
Appreciate all of your writing.... keep sharing. Insightful, thoughtful and reflective.
Thank you Fred.
This line is powerful - speaks to so many aspects of this experience we call life:
“But the body is still a choir,
even when it hums alone."
